You’re invited, Come on in…

Come in and sit with me for a few minutes, I am entering the presence of the Lord and would love to have you here with me… let’s listen to this beautiful song…and have a little talk…

We shall behold Him, Oh we shall behold Him, face to face in all of His glory!”

Have you ever simply ached to see a loved one, one whose face is so dear to you that it is emblazoned forever on your mind? One glimpse of that dear face would make you want to run and jump into their arms, oh what happiness the sight of that dear face can bring to you.

As I sat to write I put in my earphones to listen and let the worship music take me to the Throne The first strains of this song brought tears to my eyes as I pictures a loved face that I have never seen…yet I now it so well…

it is the face of my Lord Jesus Christ.

WE SHALL BEHOLD HIM!

He is the One that heals our broken hearts and binds our wounds, Psalm 147:3.

As I am standing with the throngs in front of the Throne, Total Praise begins, “You are the source of my strength, You are the strength of my life, I lift my hands in Total Praise to You”. Then, “For every mountain You’ve brought me over for every trial you’ve seen me through, for every blessing halleluiah for this I give you Praise!!!  FOR EVERY MOUNTAIN YOU’VE brought me over for every trial you’ve seen me through, for every blessing halleluiah for this I give you praise! OH HALLELUIAH!!”

AS the song continues, I feel I am at the Throne singing, crying and feeling washed and released from the past few weeks of all the heartache we’ve been going through and trouble fades as I look into His wonderful face.

As I am at the Throne I read in the Revelation 4:9-11 “Every time the Animals gave glory and honor and thanks to the One Seated on the Throne—the age-after-age Living One—the Twenty-four Elders would fall prostrate before the One Seated on the Throne. They worshiped the age-after-age Living One. They threw their crowns at the foot of the Throne, chanting, Worthy, O Master! Yes, our God! Take the glory! The honor! The power! You created it all; It was created because you wanted it”.

Revelation 5:12 says, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

As I stand and wait to see the Glory of the Father, I see the Angel, Revelation 8:1 “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”

Can you even imagine how awesome and profound that silence would be? Thousands upon thousands upon ten-thousands of souls all standing in silence before the Throne? I can imagine that when the silence ends there will be a shout that will shake all eternity.

Oh, how full I feel of the mighty Presence right now and I just wanted to share it with you.

Get alone with your Creator, Heavenly Father, Friend, and let Him renew you strength,

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, and they walk and don’t lag behind.”

Just like we have to charge the battery in our phone, computer or battery powered screw driver, we need to take the time to plug ourselves into the power that only exists in the Throne Room of God to be re-charged so that we can face another day, re-vitalized so that we can be a help to those who look to us for their needs.

You are the finger of God on this earth, but you can’t give what you don’t have. I hope you enjoyed our little visit.

  1. Yes, He is my power source. I must stay plugged into Him. In these trying times, I find my battery life being drained faster. He feeds my spirit, soothes my weary soul, and refreshes me like a spring fed brook. My heart breaks for those who don’t have a relationship with Him. He is worthy! Worthy! Worthy!
