He is coming soon!

I thought of something last night that turned out to be a great analogy of something in which I believe and wanted to share it with you!

                                                Here goes…

I married a man who had just graduated from Georgia Tech and was working towards his master’s degree, he was from Paraguay.  When we married, we asked if his being here on a student visa would be a problem, since we were marrying, we had thought we could get a resident visa… long story short…when we were married for two years, he was told he would have to go back to Paraguay for two years. No need for all the details here, suffice it to say that a lot of tears, letters to authorities and prayers were in abundance!

He left with no hope of being able to return for at least two years and we were devastated. He began working on getting another visa when he arrived in Asuncion, Paraguay… he went before a judge that told him that he would never allow him to return for any reason until the two years were up. He told him he needed to work for those two years… it’s too complicated and convoluted to try and explain but it was a bad situation.

He had taken a lot of gifts of clothing and little trinkets as gifts for his family over there but on the way to where his family lived the bus on which he was riding was stopped and robbed. They took everything he had, not only all the gifts but his personal items as well.

He had called, and at that time there was very poor telephone service and when we were able to connect it was very hard to hear. He told me ab out the robbery and what he had been told about being able to come back home to me.

All we could do was pray…

It had been two weeks with absolutely no word from him, at all. I didn’t know if he had been killed, or jailed … just felt like we were in limbo… I was sitting on the floor in the living room of my parent’s home when suddenly my dad’s face appeared, peering around the door from the upstairs of the house. He said, “Harolene, the Holy Spirit just spoke to me and told me that Sergio is in the country, and you will hear from him within the hour!”  I knew that he wouldn’t tell me that unless he knew for a fact that God had given him that Word for me.

I jumped up from where I sat and ran to start fixing my hair, putting on make-up and getting dressed… just as my dad had told me within the hour the phone in the hall rang and I picked It up knowing who it was going to be…I heard his voice…”Harolene we have been circling the Miami airport for over an hour, I just landed and I am catching the first flight out to Atlanta tonight!”

Our prayers were answered, he was home and went on to form a huge company which is responsible for much of the Atlanta skyline and many of the bridges around I-285, The King and Queen building which can be seen from I-285 and (hate to tell those of you who travel it daily) but also Spaghetti Junction!

Of what is that an analogy?

Acts 1 verses 9-11 When Jesus had said this and while they were still looking at Him, He was taken up. A cloud carried Him away so they could not see Him. 10 They were still looking up to heaven, watching Him go. All at once two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 They said, “You men of the country of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This same Jesus Who was taken from you into heaven will return in the same way you saw Him go up into heaven.”

The signs of the times are telling me that Jesus is coming, and it won’t be long.

Luke 21: 25 And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. 26 People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then everyone will see the Son of Man[e] coming on a cloud with power and great glory.[f] 28 So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”

The Bible also tells me that in the last days there will be scoffers, people making fun of those of us who believe. I am here to say I am jumping up, fixing my spiritual hair and making myself as ready as I can to meet my Bride groom, not a physical one this time but the King of King and Lord of Lords!

He won’t be coming back to build a new Atlanta skyline or bridges around I-285 but He will be building a new heaven and a new earth! The Kingdom of Heaven!! I am excited and getting ready!

Jesus is coming soon, get ready for Him!

  1. Oh Hallelujah!! Thank you! People look at me funny when I say we are seeing prophesy unfolding before our eyes in our USA and the Middle East as well. I am looking to see what happens in Damascus. I miss you so much.

I have been home bound for a long time and unable to get out without help.

      1. Joyce doesn’t drive and Janet Da Costa can’t get my wheelchair or walker in her car. Joan Watts did live here and she drove but she has passed away from cancer. I just may be in Del Mar Gardens nursing home by then. May be that I will just have to continue to miss you. ♥♥♥ I will pass on the info to Janet in case she and Joyce can come.
