Have you ever known a person that brings confusion to any group they are in? I remember someone saying that every time they had a family gathering for holidays, one of their members would always start something that got everyone at each other’s throats, and would end up leaving the table so that someone would have to go after them and try to soothe the situation. That would be my most unfavorite kind of person or people that take something they have heard and repeat it inappropriately, causing more confusion and trouble. I have noticed on the Social Media pages how people will put all their business out there. You can tell, by reading their status, who it is they are mad at, or trying to send a “message”, if you know their friends and family. People say things they know will irritate and cause trouble between family members, or friends, which seems to be especially true among the younger generation. Some of the younger people read their former friends and ex-sweethearts pages and then comment, saying something mean or “catty”! We have given ourselves one more way to live in a “Soap Opera” world. Our young people watch so much “reality” TV that they start acting and dressing like the people they are watching! My granddaughter was laughing behind her hand at me with a friend last week, when I inquired as to why I was so funny, she said, “I was just telling her that you were the original Snooky”, more laughter as I looked up why they would say that. To take up for myself, I ALWAYS wore animal print and my hair is naturally black, even though Mother Nature gets a helping hand now, and eyeliner? I am the girl that invented it! Sorry, I digress, James 3:16 KJV For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. I like the way the Message translates it: Vs 13-16 Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here’s what you do: Live well, live wisely, and live humbly. It’s the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. Mean-spirited ambition isn’t wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn’t wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn’t wisdom. It’s the furthest thing from wisdom; it’s animal cunning, devilish conniving. Whenever you’re trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others’ throats. There is something else to watch for that is being confused within your own mind, it isn’t any prettier on you than it is on any one else. Sometimes I feel like one of my feet is nailed to the floor because I am going around in circles! That’s when you have to stop, take a deep breath and think about what’s going on in your mind. Sometimes I have to stop and make a list to kind of organize everything. Are you thinking about things that are upsetting to you? Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Peace is the exact opposite of confusion, seek it! Psalm 55:18 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me. Psalm 85:10 Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. See what good company Peace keeps? Mercy, Truth and Righteousness! This next verse is especially meaningful to me. I had gotten offended by someone that I loved and trusted, so offended that when they offered to pray for me, I politely refused. One day this person kindly took me by the hand and talked to me, then quoted this verse Psalm 119:165 Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing (shall offend them) causes them to stumble. I immediately felt ashamed and forgave the offense, I felt a lot better! Be blessed, be peaceful, not confused, and try to never, ever be the cause of confusion!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit! If you read my thoughts you will see that I am sometimes serious, at other times sappy or funny, occasionally I am sad and sentimental, but I am always sincere! I am a single mother who raised two children, born ten years apart and different sexes so first it was bows and dolls, pretty dresses and boys! When my son was born it was rough and tumble games, baseball, soccer, wrestling and girls! I am known for my "smile" and for my default answer to any situation, "no problem", which was something I didn't realize I did until it was pointed out to me! I am a moon watcher and a star gazer. I am astounded and feel so small knowing that every creature that has ever walked the face of this earth has gazed upon that same beautiful orb that my eyes can behold on any night when the earth is not wearing her cloak of clouds. My parents have made me the person that I am. Their love, veracity in all areas of life, humor and passion for their work and each other have given me hope that my life can actually be a happy one! Chances are if you are reading this you already know all this but again, I appreciate your stopping by! While you're here hit the "Like" button for me and thanks for checking in!
