“We shall behold Him, Oh we shall behold Him, face to face in all of His glory!” Have you ever simply ached to see a loved one, one whose face is so dear to you that it is emblazoned forever on your mind? One glimpse of that dear face would make you want to run and jump into their arms, oh what happiness the sight of that dear face can bring to you. I sat to write the devotion and had a thought but my earphones invited me to put them in and listen to their offering. I am so affected by music, if it is happy then so am I, if is it sad it can drag me into the depths of depression, oh but if it is worship music then there I am at the Throne of the Almighty, hands raised and praising Him in the beauty of His Holiness. The first strains of the music brought the vision of a loved face that I haven’t seen but I know it so well it is the face of my Lord Jesus Christ. As the music started the tears already standing ready on the rims of my brown eyes began to roll, WE SHALL BEHOLD HIM! He is the One that heals our broken hearts and binds our wounds, we read that in Psalm 147:3. As I was standing with the throngs in front of the Throne another offering starting and Total Praise began “You are the source of my strength, You are the strength of my life, I lift my hands in Total Praise to You”. Then, “For every mountain You’ve brought me over for every trial you’ve seen me through, for every blessing halleluiah for this I give you Praise!!! FOR EVERY MOUNTAIN YOU’VE brought me over for every trial you’ve seen me through, for every blessing halleluiah for this I give you praise! OH HALLELUIAH!!” I am at the Throne singing, crying, feeling washed and release from the past few weeks of heartache and trouble fades as I look into His wonderful face. Now I stand and sing as Revelation 4:9-11 “Every time the Animals gave glory and honor and thanks to the One Seated on the Throne—the age-after-age Living One—the Twenty-four Elders would fall prostrate before the One Seated on the Throne. They worshiped the age-after-age Living One. They threw their crowns at the foot of the Throne, chanting, Worthy, O Master! Yes, our God! Take the glory! The honor! The power! You created it all; It was created because you wanted it”. 5:12 says, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” As I stand and wait to see the Glory of the Father I see the Angel about to open another seal, Revelation 8:1 “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” Can you even imagine how awesome and profound that silence would be? Thousands upon thousands upon ten thousands of souls all standing in silence before the Throne, I can imagine that when the silence ends there will be a shout that will shake all eternity. Oh how full I feel of the mighty Presence right now, I just wanted to share it with you. Get alone with your Creator, Heavenly Father, Friend, and let Him renew your strength as Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, and they walk and don’t lag behind.” Feeling pretty good right now…. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, and they walk and don’t lag behind.” Feeling pretty good right now… Just like we have to charge the battery in our phone, computer or battery powered screw driver, we need to take the time to plug ourselves into the power that only exists in the Throne Room of God, to be re-charged so that we can face another day, re-vitalized so that we can be a help to those who look to us for their needs. You are the finger of God on this earth but you can’t give what you don’t have. I hope you enjoyed our little prayer service!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit! If you read my thoughts you will see that I am sometimes serious, at other times sappy or funny, occasionally I am sad and sentimental, but I am always sincere! I am a single mother who raised two children, born ten years apart and different sexes so first it was bows and dolls, pretty dresses and boys! When my son was born it was rough and tumble games, baseball, soccer, wrestling and girls! I am known for my "smile" and for my default answer to any situation, "no problem", which was something I didn't realize I did until it was pointed out to me! I am a moon watcher and a star gazer. I am astounded and feel so small knowing that every creature that has ever walked the face of this earth has gazed upon that same beautiful orb that my eyes can behold on any night when the earth is not wearing her cloak of clouds. My parents have made me the person that I am. Their love, veracity in all areas of life, humor and passion for their work and each other have given me hope that my life can actually be a happy one! Chances are if you are reading this you already know all this but again, I appreciate your stopping by! While you're here hit the "Like" button for me and thanks for checking in!
