Telling you about what I saw today!

This afternoon I was on a road that had a few houses facing the street, something bobbing up and down in a yard on the left side caught my eye as I drove so I kept watching as it became apparent as I got closer that the bobbing was a little girl in a yellow dress jumping rope. Her shoulder-length brown hair was flying from the force of jumping and the rope swishing over it. As I got closer I slowed down to get a better view and I could see that she was totally involved in what she was doing and she never missed a step. As I drove away I glanced back in my side rear-view mirror for as long as I could get a glimpse of the little jumping girl. She captured my attention as she jumped looking as if she didn’t have a worry in the world except making sure she didn’t trip on the rope and I remembered jumping rope that way a long, long time ago.

I was feeling happy until I turned on the television, bad move.

Hebrews 12:14 Work at getting along with each other and with God Otherwise you’ll never get so much as a glimpse of God. Make sure no one gets left out of God’s generosity. Keep a sharp eye out for weeds of bitter discontent. A thistle or two gone to seed can ruin a whole garden in no time. King James says it this way, “Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man will see God”

I want to be that little girl with the shoulder-length brown hair in the yellow dress jumping rope with abandon!
