Have you ever been short of breath, palms sweaty, afraid of the unknown? I think they call that “panic attacks”. Have I ever had one? Truthfully I have. It’s at times like that I look up the scriptures I know will give me the promise I need to get me through the day! I want to share some of my “go-to” scriptures with you for the next time you need it, maybe that is today?
Isaiah 41:10-13 ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side. I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you. ‘Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. No matter how all by yourself you may be, you are never alone.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5-6 Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?
I will end with my all-time favorite…
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
Do you feel better? I know I do!
