This is for you!

Proverbs 25:11,KJV says, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. In the Message translation it sounds a little different, 11-12 The right word at the right time is like a custom-made piece of jewelry, And a wise friend’s timely reprimand is like a gold ring slipped on your finger.

In thinking about responses I have gotten from you on various subjects, I decided to answer some questions that have been asked right here right now. For lack of space, I can’t answer them all, so I picked three that have recurred from different ones of you, and will do my best to answer them. If I missed yours, let me know. And just so you know, I will never refer to any information in a way that you would be recognized, and there are many of you who do write, you wouldn’t be alone!

To you, who is in desperate need of a miracle, when Jesus was asked why they (the disciples) couldn’t perform miracles, Matthew 17:20  “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”  Luke 1:37 For with God nothing will be impossible.” I realize it’s hard to believe for a miracle when you are in the midst of a crisis but sometimes you just have to believe the sun will shine again during your most bleak hour.

Now to you who have a broken heart; I have heard about divorces, break-ups, betrayals, and I have been there in all counts, so I definitely empathize with you. I know my Father and His Word says, Psalm 147:3 He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds. Psalm 34:18 If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath. I have had the breath knocked out of me both literally and emotionally, it’s hard to tell the difference when you are sobbing so hard you cannot catch a breath, I have taken comfort in these words and so will you.

To you who didn’t feel mom’s love, I can’t identify with it because I had a mother who loved her family beyond measure, but I feel your heart. It leaves a ‘hole in your soul’ that can’t be filled when you have to wonder, “why wasn’t I loved? Was I an accident?” I am convinced that some people should never have given birth because it seems they don’t have the capacity for love, but YOU my dear, were no accident and you are special to God! Psalm 139:15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.I don’t know why, it was her problem, not yours.

I hope this was for you!
