Psalm 6:2 Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony
Psalm 30:2-3 God, my God, I yelled for help and you put me together. God, you pulled me out of the grave, gave me another chance at life when I was down-and-out.
We have two prayers from David, the “man after God’s own heart”, what a wonderful thing to have said about you! In the first verse he is telling God how weak he is and is asking for healing, and the next verse and he is thanking God for healing him and giving him another chance at life.
Psalm 107:19-21 Some of you were sick because you’d lived a bad life, your bodies feeling the effects of your sin; You couldn’t stand the sight of food, so miserable you thought you’d be better off dead. Then you called out to God in your desperate condition; he got you out in the nick of time. He spoke the word that healed you, that pulled you back from the brink of death. So thank God for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves; Offer thanksgiving sacrifices, tell the world what he’s done—sing it out!
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
Jeremiah 17:14 God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise!
I wanted to put scripture here for you to read for yourself about the healing power of our God through His Son, Jesus. I know there are those of you who need physical healing and some mental, emotional, financial or healing for your relationship. All of these scriptures are for you.The Bible tells us in 2 Peter 1:20 that no scripture is for a private interpretation. What does that mean?
It means that when God gave scripture for healing, it wasn’tjust for them! It was for us too! Whatever kind of healing you need, it is yours! I have seen all kinds of miracles with my own eyes, two clubbed feet straighten out, deaf ears opened, cancer healed, a crushed ankle that doctors said would make the leg two inches shorter than the other completely healed and the lady go back to wearing high heels! I have seen people get up from a “death bed” and be whole and well. I have received financial miracles that are too wonderful to even tell, miracles of new jobs, homes, marriages put back together, you name it I have seenit with these two brown eyes in my own head, not what someone has told, or I have read. God can do any thing, know that nothingis impossible with Him. I know that if you will plant these Words in your heart and water them with prayer, they will grow whatever it is that you need!
Matthew 18:19 Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven! Those Words, spoken by Jesus, say it all!
