The calendar flipped one page, December 31, 2020 to January 1, 2021. What’s different about today than how it was yesterday?
Unless there has been a major creative miracle overnight of which I have not yet heard, there is still the virus out there to contend with. When I go to the store I will still get out of my car, walk all the way to the door and then remember that I forgot to pick up the mask, I will be irritated with myself as I walk back toward my trusty Honda SUV to retrieve it. People will all be the same, having lost the little, small, well maybe the shadow of the holiday glow that does seem to show on the days leading up to Christmas and be grumpy as you try to get around them for the item on the shelf right where they are standing trying to decide on the “beans or no beans” chili…
