No one can ever take the place of another. You can be a place keeper, fill up some lonely minutes, or hours but when push comes to shove there will always be something about that other person you will miss, the way that person laughs or smiles, a special fragrance you associate with them, their favorite food, so many things that the list could go on for pages without end.

Romans 5: 9-11 Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way. Now that we have actually received this amazing friendship with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah!
Now we know that there is someone who can completely take our place by taking on the robe of flesh and coming to earth to be born in a simple manger and then giving His own life’s blood for the atonement of our sin so that we can have eternal life.
Yeah, Jesus really loves me… and it will be forever, Merry Christmas!
