I’m here to bring you Truth, not orders to follow

I believe that God created the heavens and the earth, that He formed man in His own image, that He took from that man a rib and created a woman to be his helpmeet, lover, wife, mother of the man’s children. 

I believe that God chose Abraham to be His friend and promised his descendants that would be more numerous than the stars. God made a covenant with Abraham and gave him a son who would have twelve sons and from those sons a nation started to grow.

I believe that God sent His only son, Jesus, born of a virgin as foretold, to die as a sacrificial lamb for us so that we could have salvation and inherit the Kingdom of heaven and eternal life.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”  John 14:6

I believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again on the third day to return to heaven, to send us an advocate, the Holy Spirit of God, and to be an intercessor for us.

I strongly believe, because I have seen with my own eyes and personally experienced, in divine healing. I have seen limbs straightened, cancer healed, a man who was pronounced dead come to life again, a gall bladder disappear in front of the surgeon’s eyes… I know because I have seen, God is the creator and can do all things.

Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches and if we believe in Him and ask anything of the Father in His name, He will do it for us. John chapter 15.

Romans 10: 9-11 “⁹ that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ¹¹ For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

The things I have just said are the beliefs on which your salvation is founded and from which you gain eternal life. 

I believe that as a teacher and mentor, as an elder in the faith, it is my responsibility to teach you those facts and hope that you accept them for the truth they are and believe on the Lord Jesus as the Son of God… outside of that I do not believe it behooves me to tell you that you are wrong, or that you lack faith because you go to a doctor to have yourself seen about. I go for a physical once a year, and I try to follow good health rules so that I keep this temple that God has given me to care for as well as I can. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 

I pray for my health and the health of my family and anyone who calls and asks for me to pray.

When we try to tell people what they can or cannot do when it comes to something that is not a sin or will steal your salvation then we are dangerously close to become a Cult and we all know that is wrong.

If God heals me instantly, or if I go to a doctor that gives me treatment that heals me, it’s all in His hands. If He chooses to ultimately heal me by taking me home to be with Him and reunited with the people that I love who have gone before, hey…I have no problem with that either. 

I am your friend, not your master, ask God for yourself what you should do in any situation and I promise, He will answer you.
