I have written a personal note at the end of this final installment of my special letter from Heaven!
The Psalms are chock full of stories of frustrations and answers for a life of Victory. When King David said in Psalms 119 V 11, “Thy Word have I hidden in my heart;” he had learned that the Word of God in its entirety was his secret to his total victory over mental anguish: Here is a man hunted for about fifteen years and faced death every day, yet he wrote the 23rd Psalm. The 119th Psalm has 176 verses, each and every verse tells us of the secret to success in every phase of life: No person can please God aside from the Word of God try as we may, we are no match to our own fears. Only by the Word of God can we truly live victorious lives: John 6:35-48 Jesus was so convinced of that, that He said in St. John 6:63 “By the Spirit of God”, Jesus is speaking, “The Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.” Life, Joy, Peace, come from the Word. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Peter’s response to Jesus:
When Peter was asked if he would forsake Jesus and turn away from our Lord, St. John 6:68 “Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the Words of Eternal life.” Then in 7:46 Even the officers sent to arrest Jesus said, “Never man spoke as this man.” Jesus quoted Moses from Deuteronomy 8:3 when He said in Matthew 4:4 “Man shall not live by bread alone but by the very Word of God.”
Job 23:12 “I have esteemed the Words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” Proverbs 18:21, “There is the power of death and life in the tongue.”
Those were my Uncle’s final words to me. During the next month he was busy taking care of his wife who was in the hospital with a broken hip. He and my dad spoke and prayed together every day, until the day and the next day when he couldn’t find him. I made the call to my cousin looking for him; she was hundreds of miles away but knew the neighbor and had them go to his house to find that he had walked with the Angels. I miss him and I appreciate that his last words to me were of encouragement to find within myself the Vessel that God wanted me to be. I hope this helped you also.
