By Jesus and HGM ( part 3)

Only one installment left for tomorrow! Remember as you read this that my Uncle wrote this for me personally, and it helped! I ended yesterday’s blog with the testimony of my Uncle about praying for a lady who was depressed to the point of suicide. When he saw her weeks later she told him that all her anxiety had lifted and her heart was full of joy! Let’s continue!

When God told Adam not to eat of a certain fruit which He called the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, GOD was not punishing Adam: God only tried to protect Adam from learning how to worry” Depression was part of that forbidden fruit. God never leads us into the destructiveness of depression, but will, if we allow him, deliver us from that evil.

Yes depression is evil because it destroys Peace of mind; Unwarranted sadness is one of the by products of low self-esteem. You may have low self-esteem of yourself but that is not the way God thinks of you. God loves you He invested everything He had in your happiness and success. He empowers and enables us to succeed.

God, through Jesus, calls loudly to all sufferers Matthew 11:28-29 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

This is a dynamite scripture we almost never think about, Matthew 16:19 when Jesus tells Peter, “And I will give unto you the keys to the Kingdom of heaven:” Then Jesus continues telling Peter that the keys to God’s kingdom is the ability to teach and deliver men and women from fear and self.

The power of a complete personality change is found in our relationship to Jesus- “pent-up feelings, hidden fears” Don’t hide your frustrations from God, He not only wants to deliver you, He will do it now!
